Litigation & Insolvency
Shaun is an Associate in the Litigation and Insolvency Practice Group and a member of the Employment and Immigration Team.
Shaun joins Appleby with over ten years experience in contentious and non-contentious employment work, including Employment Tribunal claims (sex, race and disability discrimination, victimisation, unfair and constructive dismissal, breach of contract, data protection, whistle-blowing and trade union activities), as well as advising on compromise agreements, consultancy agreements, independent contractors, and staff handbooks and policies. Shaun’s employment experience was gained at Field Fisher Waterhouse, Treasury Solicitors and the BBC, all in London, and niche law firms in Australia.
For two years, Shaun attended the Pimlico Citizens Advice Bureau on a monthly basis to provide free specialist employment law advice to members of the local community. Shaun made a few visits to the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre to train students in taking instructions from clients in various areas of the law and preparing advice based on those instructions.
